Why I Started
Mentoring, Coaching,
Editing
After graduating with my MFA in Creative Writing, I was faced with how to put my degree to use - beyond seeking publishing opportunities, of course. The experience changed me. The thought of going back to the work I had been doing felt like wearing shoes two sizes too small.

My Story
After graduating with my MFA in Creative Writing, I was faced with how to put my degree to use - beyond writing, of course.
The experience challenged and changed me in ways I've been processing since. The thought of going back to the work I'd been doing felt like wearing shoes sizes too small.

Traditionally, graduates of an MFA program pursue some combination of writing, teaching, editing, publishing. Both my training and prior experience made seeking a career in one of these a natural choice. Safe, even.

But I had a desire to bring together the pieces of my varied background. To be of service while working for myself. Deciding what my days would look like. Who I would be serving.

Itinerant Creative Content & Coaching LLC was born.
My training and experience in alternative medicine and counseling gave me unique tools to be a mentor to writers experiencing thought patterns and fears often standing between them and their writing aspirations.

Time spent teaching in universities, working as a librarian, as well as earning my writing degrees, formed me into an experienced writing coach and editor. One who was versed in the publishing world, able to teach in workshop settings, and work with students/clients one-on-one.

My mission is to work with authors and aspiring authors to overcome any mental/emotional barriers between them and their aspirations to complete dream projects. To provide coaching in craft and process, as needed. And to help develop their work from first draft to publication-ready through compassionate, professional editing.

If you have a book (or another book) inside you trying to get out, or one in need of development into your best work, reach out for complimentary call to get clear on your path to making it a reality.

Wherever you are in your writing journey - from an idea for a book that won't let you rest, to thoughts/fears interfering with your process, to a completed draft that needs a compassionate, professional touch to develop it for submission/publication - you deserve services tailored to your specific needs and situation.

I don't believe in "one size fits all" services. We'll co-create what's right for you.

If we decide we're a fit to work together, we'll co-create a package to get you where you want to go.
You may be starting from scratch with an idea that you need help getting on the page in the way you envision.
Maybe you find yourself stuck in a sea of self-doubt, fears, overwhelm, wondering if you really can do this, at whatever stage you are.
Or, you may have a draft ready for a fresh set of professional eyes. Someone who will take the time to get to know you and your dreams for your book before making suggestions for getting it there. "Holistic Editing," as my clients have begun to call it :)
Workshops
Masterclasses

Live - Online - Small Group Offerings - As Announced
I offer, as I see the need, occasional Masterclasses on topics that come up frequently in my Facebook Community, Authors Anonymous: Writers leaping obstacles, one block at a time, or on LinkedIn. A brief teaching with plenty of time for personal Q & A.
I also create live small group programs, as needed, in a workshop format to create more accessible opportunities for clients with similar barriers or goals and for whom 1:1 mentoring is, for the moment, out of reach.
